Stories
My favorite aspect of filmmaking has always been screenwriting. I love how stories are weaved together in a visual manner long before they are filmed, edited, and projected in a theater. The language of a screenplay is extremely different than that of a novel or a poem, as is the pacing and structure. My first experience reading or writing a proper screenplay did not occur until my senior year in high school, but my love of writing began as a child when I first attempted to immitate the great authors whose books I devoured.
Ever since my early days of writing, I have dabbled in other styles and forms of writing, including screenwriting, poetry, short stories, and most recently a children’s illustrated story. To read a sample of my writing, click on the category thumbnail below or the drop-down page below the stories tab on the navigation bar. Some samples will only be a synopsis, while others will be the full text.
