Production Rates
Scriptwriting:
(All screenplays include a treatment (outline) of the project if so desired. Original screenplays are work created from scratch; whereas non-original screenplays are adapted from another source. The creativity and quality of each screenplay is guaranteed to exceed or meet your expectations).
Original Short Screenplay, Including Treatment $700
- Less than 30 pages
- Any genre and for any industry
- G, PG, or PG-13 rating
- Rewrites: additional $250 a day
Non-Original Short Screenplay, Including Treatment $500
- Less than 30 pages
- Any genre and for any industry
- G, PG, or PG-13 rating
- Rewrites: additional $200 a day
Videography:
(Each video project comes ready to meet most equipment needs. If there is a specific device not on the equipment list, then rentals are a free option up to $150. Both high-definition and standard definition video are available to meet all professional requirements. For a 1-2 day shoot, there is a per hour charge of $40 an hour. Price negotiations are accepted on a project to project basis).
Single Camera Shoot (Live, On Location, or In Studio) $800
- Equipment setup – lights, camera, mics, etc
- Video and audio recording
- Maximum 3 day shoot
- Additional shoot days = $300 a day, $1400 a week
Dual Camera Shoot (Live, On Location, or In Studio) $1000
- Equipment setup – lights, cameras, mics, etc
- Video and audio recording
- Maximum 3 day shoot
- Additional shoot days = $400 a day, $1800 a week
Video Editing:
(All of the editing packages listed below are completed to a standard of quality you would expect from an experienced professional. The price differences between packages vary depending on the demands of the project and what extra features you want to include).
Silver Package $200 a day
(A basic edit of a single video with a polished look – perfect for the web)
- No graphics, visual effects, or photos
- Basic titling, text, and transitions
- Single source footage
- Turn around – minimum 3-4 business days
Bronze Package $300 a day
(An advanced edit of two videos with some professional extras – web or DVD)
- Basic graphics, slides, visual effects, or photos
- Complex titling, text, and transitions
- Dual source footage: B-roll, archive, etc.
- Turn around – minimum 5-7 business days
Gold Package $350 a day
(The highest quality edit with several videos and complex extras– film, TV broadcast, web, or DVD)
- Complex graphics, slides, or visual effects
- Complex titling, text, and transitions
- Multiple amounts of source footage
- Turn around – minimum 14 business days
By Hour Projects $55 an hour
- Turn around – 1 day or less
(Due to the nature of these projects, their tight deadlines and sometimes demanding circumstances, the hourly rate may vary, depending on the difficulty of the project)
DVD Authoring:
(The below rates are for a single DVD package. If the project requires more than one DVD, than each additional DVD and its respective content costs $100 per DVD. This does not refer to additional copies of the same content. Additional copies are free up till 15. Past that each DVD copy is .40 cents)
Kiosk DVD $30
- No menu, movie plays automatically on loop
Consumer Package $400
(This package includes the basic necessities for a DVD menu to function properly. If you want a DVD with chapters, music, and other simple features for half the price, this is the package for you).
- Basic Menu – background, scene selection, music, etc.
- No subtitling, looped videos, or motion graphics
- Total of 4 menu pages
- Turn around – minimum 2-3 business days
- Additional menu pages: $50 per page
Professional Package – (4-5 days min, 10 days max) $800
(This package includes all the industry standard features and extras you would find on a DVD for a feature film or TV production. If you want the top of the line production on your DVD, then this is the package for you).
- Complex Menu – video background, motion graphics, etc
- Features included (if desired) – subtitles, bios/resumes, extras, audio setup, movie trailers, etc.
- Total of 8 menu pages
- Additional menu pages: $50 per page
- Customer is responsible for providing all media and content
The above listed rates may be subject to change if the client chooses to change the scope of the project after the initial project development meeting and/or if the industry rates or equipment fees increase. All changes in price will be discussed and negotiated on a project to project basis.
