Starting Line

Breaking news! This just in! OK I just wanted to say that to see how it sounded, but I do have exciting news. As of last week I finished editing three different episode segments for a BYU TV show called “Fresh Take,” formerly called “Living Essentials.” Please click on the link for more information, though it hasn’t been updated from Living Essentials to Fresh Take yet.

It’s basically a talk show format with out of studio, on location short documentaries about people doing good in the world. That’s where I come in, no not the doing good in the world, though I would like to think I am, but I edited the short documentaries for three different episodes.

One episode was about parents volunteering at their child’s public school, another about the 80′s pop band “The Jets,” and another about a British guy name Simon Sinek who helps people discover their why or why they do what they do. All three of these episodes should be airing in September, but I don’t have exact dates yet and when I do, I will post them here. Also I plan on posting the video segments I worked on, which by the way are called packages in and around BYU TV. So stay tuned for more information regarding my first TV show credit coming to your cable or dish network this September.

In the last few weeks I landed an exclusive partnership with DealerTrack – a leading provider of management and inventory software for car dealerships. Their headquarters is in New York, but most of my work is done out of their Salt Lake City office. Some of the videos below include HD footage I shot in Seattle, Orange County, Atlanta, Tuscon, and Salt Lake City and edited with my good friend Drew Brinley in DealerTrack’s SLC office. The first video was produced for MADA (Missouri Automotive Dealers Association) and was completed April 6, 2010. Thanks for watching!

The series of DealerTrack videos below are dealership testimonials and were produced for NADA (National Automotive Dealers Association) as part of a larger presentation that repeatedly played on a 10 foot screen at the NADA tradeshow in Orlando this year. I shot all these HD videos at various car dealerships around the US. Drew Brinley and I edited them for the NADA tradeshow.
